The purpose of this Project Health, Safety and Environmental Plan (HSE Plan) is to ensure that all company and subcontractors employees are safeguarded as far as, is responsibly practicable, from potential hazards in the performance of their duties and all practicable measures are taken to safeguard the environments.
Arabian Coast Cont. L.L.C is dedicated to improvements in safety and health standards and is also determined to maintain good environmental controls during all activities on the Project
The company requires employees, at all levels, to support and strictly implement its health, Safety and Environmental Policy to which end this plan is guidance in the aim to achieve the target of “Zero Accidents “ on this projects.
The HSE plan is applicable to all situations where the Project Manager is responsible for the Project. The Project consists of work as listed below with supply of labour, tools, equipment and plan as necessary to execute the tasks during the performance of the contract.
WORKS INCLUDE THE ELEMENTS AS NOTED HEREUNDER :
Roads works including leveling, preparation of sub-grade, sub-base, and asphalting works.
Excavations, Chambers, valves and main line connected for water irrigation services.
Excavation, ducting, jointing and backfill for telephone services.
Excavation, ducting and backfill for electrical services.
Excavation, ducting, backfill and foundations for traffic signals & control system.
Excavation, ducting, cable laying, backfill, column erection, and feeder pillars for street lighting.
Construction of soak-away and installation gullies for surface water drainage services.
